Hiwin Systems is looking for a meticulous and commercially aware Quantity Surveyor to join our growing engineering support team. In this role, you will prepare quantity take-offs, assist with BOQ development, and support cost planning deliverables across building and engineering projects.
You will work with drawings, specifications, and measurement standards to produce reliable quantity outputs for client teams. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong eye for detail, discipline in measurement, and interest in cost engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and technical documents.
Develop BOQs in line with project scope, specifications, and measurement standards.
Review drawings to identify quantity risks, missing information, and scope gaps.
Support cost estimation, tender documentation, and commercial reporting activities.
Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve quantity and scope clarifications.
Maintain organized records of measurements, revisions, and issue logs.
Assist in preparing client-ready quantity reports with high accuracy and consistency.
Technical requirement
Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, take-off, or estimation roles
Software
Working knowledge of CostX, AutoCAD, Excel, and BOQ preparation tools.
Soft Skills
Strong numerical accuracy, document review skills, and communication ability
