Hiwin Systems is looking for a meticulous and commercially aware senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing engineering support team located in Mangalore. The day-to-day tasks include overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying activities, preparing detailed BOQ, analyzing documentation,

You will work closely with project stakeholders and project stakeholders to develop practical schedules, monitor critical activities, and highlight risks before they affect delivery. The role is well suited for candidates who are analytical, organized, and comfortable working with schedule-driven project environments.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and technical documents.
  • Develop BOQs in line with project scope, specifications, and measurement standards.
  • Review drawings to identify quantity risks, missing information, and scope gaps.
  • Support cost estimation, tender documentation, and commercial reporting activities.
  • Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve quantity and scope clarifications.
  • Maintain organized records of measurements, revisions, and issue logs.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with Cost-X.

Technical requirement

Education​

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying, take-off, or estimation roles

Software​

Working knowledge of CostX, AutoCAD, Excel, and BOQ preparation tools.

Soft Skills

Strong numerical accuracy, document review skills, and communication ability
