Job Overview

Hiwin Systems is looking for a structured and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our project controls team. In this role, you will build and maintain construction programmes, track progress and support project teams with reliable schedule information. You will work with drawings, scopes and contractor inputs to develop Level 4 schedules, critical path analysis and look-ahead programmes. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy logical sequencing, clear reporting and keeping projects on time.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Level 4 project schedules in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Define activity sequencing, logic links and critical path.
  • Prepare resource loading and planning for labour, materials and equipment.
  • Track progress and update programmes against baselines.
  • Prepare look-ahead schedules and progress reports for clients.
  • Identify delays, risks and bottlenecks and propose recovery actions.
  • Coordinate with QS, MEP and site teams to align schedule information.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning or scheduling.
SOFTWARE
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; Excel for reporting.
SOFT SKILLS
Strong communication, reporting skills and eagerness to work in cross-functional teams.
